Investigative Field Essay

My Investigative Field Essay attempts to determine how athletes are impacted mentally when they lose their sport. This was inspired by UNC Football player Tez Walker, who was wrongly ruled ineligible.

Rhetorical Analysis of Field Artifacts

In this project, I analyzed the rhetorical appeals used in a video from UNC Football coach Mack Brown and a research paper testing athletes' mental health.

Rhetorical Rationale

In this project, I created three artifacts to help persuade the NCAA decision-makers to be more thoughtful of mental health when ruling athletes ineligible. My Rhetorical Rationale analyzes the rhetorical choices I made in my artifacts to convince my audience further.
